Emily Clark, owner and CEO of Raise the Barn, brings a bevy of event management, design & production, fundraising and community engagement skills to her role.
Prior to starting Raise the Barn, Emily worked with CLARE Foundation, where she successfully integrated new strategies to personalize and strengthen donor relationships through one-of-a-kind events. With an emphasis on providing extraordinary customer service, Emily strives to make each event interaction a personal and meaningful experience. This is reflected in her successes as an event coordinator with the Sundance Film Festival, where she managed events for award-winning films such as 20 Feet From Stardom and Searching for Sugarman, as well as her time spent with the YMCA of Greater New York as the Manager of Fund Development and Special Projects. Most recently, Emily piloted a new national fundraising event for a large medical research non-profit, simultaneously managing all event logistics and donor relationships in the Atlanta, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Houston markets.
Boasting a bachelor’s of science in Arts Administration and Theatre from Butler University, Emily has seamlessly incorporated her background in the arts with innovative event production, project management and non-profit strategies. She also holds a certificate in Executive Fundraising from Indiana University’s Center on Philanthropy and Fund Raising School, in partnership with the YMCA of the USA.
When she's not planning your fabulous parties, Emily loves to upcycle furniture, spend endless hours exploring flea markets, watch old movies with her husband Michael, and play with her adorable pup Howie and the newest edition to the Clark family - her baby Teddy.
